Update 7/28/08

Last night we had a blast at The Orange County fair. Biggie's doctor gave him the OK to play, so it was good for him to get out of the house. We were once again joined by Gary Brooks on keys and sax. He is a welcome addition our lineup, whenever we can get him. It's been 3 weeks of rest and recuperation for Biggie, he's half-way there. Many thanks to those who called and wrote offering best wishes for a speedy recovery. A special thank you to Steve Tanczyn for playing chauffeur to Biggie while he is unable to drive. The public at large is safer for this.

WELCOME

 Welcome to our band website.The New Guys are a hard working four piece band, playing a mix of tunes from many genre's, including Blues, R&B, and Classic Rock. We recently added a great sax player, Jack Kowet, to the mix, opening up a whole new type of sound and expression for us. We are pleased that he has decided to join us full time. We've also been fortunate to have Gary Brooks sit in with us for the last few gigs on keys and sax. Recently, someone at a club we were playing in said "You guys sound like a freight train in a hurricane!" Well, we think this is a compliment, so we'll take it. We have been playing clubs throughout the Hudson Valley for a few years now, evolving into an all-purpose band. We can play as background music in a supper club type setting, playing primarily acoustic instruments, right on up to a full blown roadhouse rockin' blues band. So give us a call should you need this type of versatility of music at your next special event, party, club, etc. We look forward to hearing from you.
